Come connect with your own personal wisdom, healing abilities and expansive potential....this meditation class is appropriate for beginners and experienced students alike. A regular meditation practice will help you to reduce anxiety, deal with stress and find more focus. When the mind becomes free from agitation, becomes calm, serene and focused, this is meditation.
This class draws on the rich tradition of yoga (oneness) as it has been taught for centuries in India and will introduce a number of different meditation techniques, including gentle yoga, deep relaxation, breath and energy work, one-pointed focus and visualization. Because meditation is not a one-size-fits-all practice, each student will develop their own practice with the techniques that best suit them.
ABOUT SAMITA
Samita’s goal in her teaching is to inspire students, through the practice of Yoga and meditation, to connect with their own personal wisdom, healing abilities and expansive potential. Samita has over 5 years of experience as Health and Wellness Coach and 2 years experience as Certified Yoga Instructor and meditation teacher. Conducting Meditation Classes is her passion. After over 10 years in administration and human resources, Samita earned her Yoga teacher certififcation at Vyasa University in Bangalore, India, where she is currently working toward her post graduate degree in yoga therapy. She has studied with Master Anandmurti Gurumaa and is a reiki master. Samita teaches meditation on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
